I paaked my caaa in Boston this weekend!!!!

My Boston accent got a shot in the arm this weekend. I love this city and all it's historic buildings and history. Unfortunately, since the big dig I was totally lost driving around .   This is me and my two great kids. Luckily one of them lives in Boston!

This flag hanging from one of the public buildings  was spectacular.  Below is the sign for Durgin Park. I introduced my husband to this Boston landmark. My great grandfather used to eat there. The food is still great and the waiters still nasty!!!

This is the Boston Common and the swan boats. It was a gorgeous day and I took about 50 pictures. I feel a rug or painting in the making!!!!

This is one of my favorite pictures. I love the shadows. I was sitting in  a coffee shop on Newbury street and decided to feed the birds. I quickly took this picture.

Great Party

We celebrated my husband Don's birthday this weekend--great friends, family and food!   It was total surprise. Thanks to everyone who helped to make it a great success! It was difficult to send this picture to each of you. Click on the picture and it will enlarge.

A GREAT WEEKEND

It was a gorgeous weekend.....  Saturday afternoon I finished another nest painting-- this one very abstract. I am spending most of my time painting and framing for my solo show that opens up at Quiet Waters on June 21 .  We went to the opening of the Annapolis Watercolor Club's Gallery 1683 Show on Saturday night. Here is a picture . If you live near Annapolis be sure to stop by. The Gallery is located right on Main Street.  Go to our web site at www.annapoliswatercolorclub.org for information about this organization.  The weekend ended with a great dinner at our friend Carol's house. She just finished building a beautiful waterfall and pond and you can see a family of ducks decided to move in.

Happy Thanksgiving

   Thanksgiving 2008 was great. We are thankful for all our blessings. My husband Don on the left..... me and my two children above-- Kate and Marc. My daughter is a scientist in California and my son is an industrial designer in Michigan. They live too far away!   My nieces and nephew on the right. They are the 3 musketeers--- always hamming it up! We had 13 people for dinner including Don's 2 boys and girlfriend. Between us we have 5 children from previous marriages. It is always busy in our house.  When they all leave I'll get back to work finishing my book and getting ready for a heavy class schedule in January.

Time Travel

   My Mom and I met the general in Annapolis this morning. He wouldn't let us go back to 17th century Annapolis with him. He was only here for a few hours to buy some 21st century goods! We are actually getting ready for a fun Thanksgiving week with family!!!   Happy Thanksgiving!

Happy Halloween

  I thought this was a cute picture of my husband's son's girlfriend Jessie.  They were all getting ready to party this weekend and the costumes were great!   Just a Reminder---- Halloween is right around the corner and also putting our clocks back!

Summer Party

We had a fabulous party this weekend - A celebration of our first wedding anniversary, our dear friend, Brenda's birthday (I won't divulge the year) and Don's birthday which was lost on the Fourth of July craziness . I'm sorry to see the summer ending and the flowers nodding their heads!
