Desperate Painters!

  These are the "Desperate Painters"  They look too happy to be desperate!    We had a class on color and every person used the  same design (My Maine Buoys's) to create a color plan that worked. The Wednesday night watercolor class ends this week and it has been fun for me. 

Some people think watercolor is hard but it really isn't. There are only  four basic ways of applying paint to paper. If you master those and practice frequently -- every day if you can --you will be a very good painter in a few years!   Congratulations to this great class.

The Annapolis Watercolor Club's Show

    It was a beautiful day for an art show at this historic property in Crofton.  I was greeting guests at the door this morning. The Annapolis Watercolor club is 140 members strong. The painting styles represented are diverse. I encourage new painters to join-- the meetings are the 2nd Wednesday in the month at 7:30 pm at Maryland Hall For the Arts.

White Tulips

This is hot off the press-- Finished it this morning. It will be offered as a painting kit on my web page.  Notice the negative painting between the tulips. It was tricky-- most white flowers are. Challenge yourself to try new things.
